LFW: DAY ONE
DAY ONE: Aztec skirt, Zara
What. A. Day. If you've been following me over on Rimmel London Australia's instagram and twitter, you'll know I've been a very, very busy bee.
I didn't know what the weather was going to do today but I decided to brave bare legs to go with my new Aztec-style beaded skirt but with lots of layers on my top half to keep me warm in cooler moments. I've done a double photo today to show day (less layers) and night, when the temperature dropped.
My biggest revelation from today has been the joys of a backpack, in particular this lovely cuddly number from Ruxx. Heaving my life around is considerably more comfortable when I have two straps!
More tomorrow, right now I need to faceplant into my pillow.
Worn with: black waffle knit, boots and frilled socks, all Topshop; spike necklace, Nelly.com; square chain necklace, Freedom at Topshop; cape jacket, Zara. jelly clutch, Christopher Kane; sunglasses, Kurt Geiger; scarf, All Saints.

BRIGHTS: DAY SEVEN
DAY SEVEN: Neon yellow beaded necklace, H&M
Apologies for the lack of posting yesterday, I was manically prepping a shoot that's required quite a bit of production that I'm shooting today. By the time you read this, I will be winging my way to Windsor for a day of fringing, tie dye and far too many tents for my liking.
Back to the matter at hand though, it seems you all like my necklace. A lot. And would you believe it, its another £9.99 jobby from H&M. They are seriously hitting the nail on the sartorial head at the moment. I was out shooting some street style the other night and one of my subjects was wearing it. I didn't want to come over all fan girl on her so I didn't dare ask where it was from - after I'd finished, I thought I'd pop in to H&M for a quick evening browse to see what there was and lo, there was the necklace!
I'll be honest, its fairly distracting. Not only because of the colour but also the sheer size and swingy-ness of it. When I have to semi-run for a bus or walk quickly, it swings around quite a lot - there have been several incidents where I've come very close to smacking myself in the face with the Mardi Gras style beads. At least when I do, I can add it to my list of fashion-related injuries. Good times
Worn with: Tee, Matches 4 LFW; sunglasses, Valentino.

AUTUMN: DAY FIFTEEN
DAY FIFTEEN: Faceted bead necklace, Freedom Premium at Topshop
I have longer been a sucker for a statement necklace and I think that this necklace from Freedom at Topshop's new Premium collection is about as statement as they come. Simply put, it was love at first sight for me when I first saw another girl wearing the gold version and it seems to be the case with everyone who lays eyes on it - the first time I wore it, I spent the whole day fielding questions about it wherever I went, including my commute home on the tube. It's a great piece on days when I can't decide what to wear as I simply add it to a plain tee and jeans and I'm done.
There are so many great pieces in the new Premium range and I want them all, although at the higher price point than normal, I'm going to have to be selective with what I buy. Check out the whole collection [here], this particular necklace is [here]
Worn with: grey sweatshirt, Petit Bateau.

AUTUMN: DAY TWELVE
DAY TWELVE: Navy beaded dress, Miss Selfridge
Smack bang during LFW this year, one of my lovely friends got married. It meant running straight from a day of shows home to quickly change before driving out to Surrey to join the evening party so I needed something that was suitable but that also required no ironing as I would literally have about 15 minutes to turn around my look. As you can see from my daytime look from Day Seven, I didn't even have time to change my hair or makeup!
I bought this dress from Miss Selfridge last year after I fell in love with the vintage style of it and the fact that although it's pretty much completely covered up at the front, it is also virtually backless which definitely adds the sex factor - I'm not sure I could wear it during the day part of the wedding but for the evening party it definitely ticked all of the boxes!
Worn with: 2.55 leather bag, Chanel; Tights, Wolford; Black quilted leather pumps, Office.
